Colour is the most important value factor, fine emeralds show strong saturation and an even, vivid green.
Inclusions are normal; eye-clean emeralds are extremely rare and highly valuable.Stones should have good transparency without being overly dark.

Durability
Although emerald has good hardness, its internal inclusions can make it more fragile than other beryls.
It should be protected from hard knocks, chemicals, and ultrasonic cleaners. Best suited for pendants, earrings, or rings with protective settings.
